[[from post in Tavern Tales]]
A thin lanky elf is seen asking in the tavern if a human might have gone missing recently. The elf describes the decayed body as a human male [[Trey Waynolt]]. He claimed he carried it from the Hollow where he'd discovered it back to town. He seemed clearly upset that the Priest Barnabas Arclight had no interest in funeral preparations or death rituals. The hide armored elf said he'd taken the body back to the woods and buried it underneath the pines after vanquishing a kobold threatening the town's paths.
Muttering 'greedy indulgent pigs* the elf left the village angrily.

An off duty Argent Archer regales her peers with her report from the guard post up on the Rivermoot Plantation observation post.
"This elf crossed the plantation heading towards the ladder. He disappeared from sight near the vats. Up on the ridge I could see an Orc Ambusher across the valley. It was much too far for a bowshot.
When all of a sudden I saw a glimpse of something shiny, a thrown axe perhaps, strike the orc at it's neck, killing it instantly. Moments later the elf appeared collecting the orc's weapons and kicking the corpse
over the edge." Sipping from her beer, she continues, "it never saw it's death coming. And later as i returned from duty, stuck in the ground at the bottom of the trail heading up the pass there was this
rusty katana stuck in the ground, it's handle snapped off. Must be some kind of elf warning."

Re: An elf enters town warily
One afternoon the dockworkers sitting down on their jobs look out and see an elf wading up and down the river. He seems to be scanning the banks. After some time the elf readies a spear, stands still for some time,
then begins harpooning a few szorp, shalass, silvertail, and even a few cold water crabs.
One dockworker comments. "He's gonna eat well tonight, wish we'd thought of fishing first." The other one quips, "he's gonna fatten up with all that."
