Whispers in Felbarr tell of Azer's being spotted in the Marches.

Other rumors spread within Felbarr that some form of beings have laid seige to Settlestone....

Some say the Azer has come to the Marches to lead an army against the giants near Settlestone, others say a great host of Stone Giants have surrounded the rebuilt ruins. Others say that kin have gone brainmad and are attacking each other.

Word spreads slowly that a half-orc, along with a Banite, were allowed to get past the Anvil and near the bridge to the Hammer of Felbarr. They were escorted back to the Anvil, where they were allowed to rest and eat, and then escorted away from Felbarr. It is even said these personages dare to strike deals with the Xorn that occupy one of Felbarrs newly aquired holdings without the permission of Warcrown. All guards are to be on the lookout for any further incursions into dwearven soverign soil. Word has been sent to the University about the Xorn's removal.

Other whispers circulate that someone within the University itself is handing out writs with Warcrowns signature on it available for anyone to freely copy. It is reported that Warcrown is outraged and is demanding the person's head.

Rumors has it that The Hammer in Felbarr was attacked by a pack of werewolves. The defenders were lead by a young dwarven (((you wrote Barakor should be Watchful Guard))) named Koigan Stoneshield. During the attack it was heard that 12 or 14 werewolves fell under the dwarf's hammers and axes. It was also reported that one dwarf Felbarr guard had payed Gorm's greatest price. He has bought honor to his clan and to Felbarr.

edited by DMviigas. Plz use religious titles correct as it may confuse/ruin the "fun" for others, Barakor is a highlevel speciality priest of Gorm axes high!

Whispers abound in the guard of Felbarr that an elf entered the gates alone with little fanfare. After breif discussion with a group of dwarves, he presented Dwarven weapons recently recovered from a tribe of ogres, as well as a sparkling gem, a gift from his People to Warcrown. The armoury of the Hammer was later presented with the dwarven weapons, said to be a few hundred years old and forged in Sundabar, possibly during the time Sundabar was a dwarven outpost. There are also whispers among the guard that the lowlands are suffering from a plague of Lycans, the truth of this fact felt mere weeks before at the Gates of the Hammer itself. Many of the guard now carry either a silvered weapon, or in most cases silver tipped bolts in case the lowland problem spreads again.

Word arrives in Felbarr that one of the human villages has been razed to the ground by Wolf Shifters of a similar ilk to those that attacked the gates rides ago. Both Jandar Starblade, in charge of the Knight in Silver detachment in Felbarr, as well as Captian Stonehollow were apprised of the situation. As the occurance lies at the base of the mountain, it was suggested that a detachment of Felbarr dwarves and Knights be sent to Khelb to hold the lower pass against any incursions, as well as to provide further security for the small village.

Word reaches Felbarr that the immediate threat in the lowlands has been quelled. The human village itself is reported to be a total loss, and a massacre. Among those of Felbarr credited for helping in the fight to regain the land are Berenor Stouthand and Under-Faenor Unna Stormhorn. The alert remains, all guard shifts are to be on the watch for any wolves walking upright, or enormous rats or boars within the general vicinity of Felbarr and it's holdings, silvered weapons should be used. It is also believe that Talonites run with the incursion as well.

It is said both in Mithril Hall and Settlestone that Garlus of Clan Ironbeard has delivered important news of lowland work.

Rumor amongst the masons building the Eye of Warcrown tell of a giant corpse having to be moved off of one of the building sights. According to Junior Mason Stonebridge, when the team arrived from the caves at sun up to begin their daily work, the tower they had been working on had been blocked by the body of an enormous blue giant. It took the whole team of builders to move the body off of the perch, whilst Talhund Ironbeard dug a huge grave in the vale. There was much mutterings about the giant being buried, but none dared argue with the Talhund, as it appeared the great giant had been slain by his axe. The workers have taken to calling the partly constructed tower Giantbane, as already at it's base glory has been forged. The Talhund was later seen leaving the camp, a rothe drawn cart in toe, laden with an enormous axe, bound for Felbarr.

Guard Harlung trudges through the snow from his post at the front gate of the First Eye of Warcrown. As he thunks the unused bolt from his heavy crossbow into the snow, Sergeant of the watch Stonefist approaches.

"Lad....."
"Sargeant. Nothin to report this eve, no sign of movement beyond."
"Good. You've seen Ironbeard lately?"
Nay, can't say that I have..."
"Do us all a favor and check in on him...he came in not long ago talking of hissing voices on the wind. I think those two giants must have rattled his brain like a forgehammer on a bad piece of ingot. Not been a damn thing out there all night...."
"Aye sir...."

All transporation of goods to and from Mithril Hall have been ceased temporarily. The cause is yet unknown, the merchants of Felbarr seem gruffer than usual, but there are talks of shadows within the lowlands.

Passersby of Hawk's Nest will note the Knights in Silver fortifying their positions, Filion himself helping the men at the station. Rumors abound at the camp of an impending attack, a reprisal of raids done previously by unknown parties against a Duergar outpost.

The Guards of the Eye speak of three more dead, apparently burned to a cinder.

Further talks around the Eye reveals the half of the guard posted on the road in anticipation of the attack on Hawk's Nest turned a raiding party from the coal mines around. Though word is that Hawk's Nest was attacked, it was most likely by scouts of the raiding party sent out beforehand.

Another guard has gone missing. His partner during duty showed up out of breath, telling those at the Eye that portals were indeed being used under.

A grim faced Garlus was noted to give orders at the Eye for the guards to begin barrelling snow after a short meeting with the Gate Sergeants. Though many kin laugh and joke of Garlus loosing his mind, the Sergeants keep kin on task, and only tell the guard it is necessary when asked why. Garlus was seen to make haste toward Felbarr after the order was given.

Sometime later Garlus was seen entering Felbarr, consulting with a scholarly elder, and then making way with the elder in tow toward King Warcrown's chambers.

Garlus of Clan Ironbeard was seen to deliver a sealed packet to Grimstadt in Settlestone, as well as another to one of the elders of Mithril Hall. He was seen to enter a lengthy discussion with both recipients, before leaving each settlement.

The mountains are eerily silent, after days of drums and horns echoing the vallies, and brite lights flicker across the sky. Carrion birds circle the sky, plumes of smoke and cooking flesh fill the air at points centered around Felbarr. Word travels with the contingents that have wound their way down to the City of Silverymoon proper...the War is over. Great forces of Duergar, Illithid, fire creatures and Umberhulk have broken under the combined attacks and defences of Felbarr and the allies thereof, those surviving melting back into the earth like the Spring Thaw itself. Runners are sent to the outlying towns, any threat of poison has now been removed..the water barrels kept since months past can be used for other purposes. Of note, a warning sent down to the City to be spread to the outlying region, that none should approach the Eye of Warcrown without expectation of a strong resistance from giants...as apparently the victory over the Duergar did not include all of their allies. The Clans of giants remain entrenched, and expectations of a counter assault have likely been put on hold due to the great losses suffered during the war, as well as refortification of both Felbarr, and what some claim as ground gained during the war. Trade travels easily from Sundabar to Felbarr, though traders are still warned of the giantkin going down the pass. Flags fly high among Felbarr, the mood somewhat jubulent to any visitors...but the trained eye would catch the weary face of the beleagured axe at arms...or even worse, the mournful expression of the now fatherless. Behind the jubulant antmosphere also lies the feel of....grim determination. Whispers abound....

"Felbarr stands...and will continue to do so, no matter the threat. It stands as ally to Alustrial...it stands as Watcher over the mountains, as well as under."
