Camera Settings

Post by Drist »

Finally got the game and the two expansions and ready to come play in ALFA again. The only thing is the camera for the new game is driving me nuts. What setting do I need to put it on in order to get it to work like the camera in NWN1?

Thanks in advance.

I don't actually recall what system NWN1 used, but NWN2 has three. Hit the *-key or click on one of these three buttons, and try them.

In NWN1 the camera would rotate around the character when you moved the curser to the edge of the screen. The camera in NWN2 just moves around without rotating if you catch what i am saying. I will try clicking on those buttons to see if it works.

I think you want the left one then: "exploration mode".

You can also modify the default camera behaviors in the Options screen - there are 3 Mode tabs corresponding to the various camera modes.

I had similar frustration switching to NWN2...play with the different modes a bit, with some practice and increased familiarity they eventually serve well. You have to hold the x key down to pan the camera about...z key highlights interact-able objects.

Welcome back and I hope to see you IG soon :D
