Please use the reports system. This is not a bug report thread.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

Were you logged into Drupal?

Our ticket system doesn't currently take anonymous bug reports

Underway - Voina

A number of AT's a screwy.

AT that leads South is non functional.

AT that leads to "Underway North" transitions to Sshamath- Temple Ward (It also warns that is is a one-way transition, but functions bidirectionally )

Best I can tell there is at present to path back to the Underway.

Suspicious Baldurian killed new 0xp PC (Corico) in docks, around the Blushing Mermaid. Didn't seem to do subdual damage so I think he's not working as intended still. Granted I'm not sure what subdual damage looks like since I don't CvC or anything.

We encountered another one in the sewers which was fine, but the newbie ganking still sucks. Player logged off while in negatives so no corpse (yet).

I have about a 5 RL hours into trying to trigger the Introduction to Baldur's Gate quest. The segment that seems bugged is the Beregost portion, in which the Lathandrites send you "south of the city" to find undead.

I have thus far gotten two triggers that tell me I am on the way. The first (paraphrase) "you have stepped off the road. Now continue South". The other "You've found a little camp, but no undead yet."

After that --- nothing.

Check your journal for which path you're on; it's on the bottom of the journal entries. If it's too much meta to post, PM it. The nature of our quest system means that those five triggers are actually twenty five triggers, so I need to know which one I'm looking at.

"You've checked out the second part of the space just south of the road outside of Beregost.

You need to continue scouting South of the road. ( Lawful Good path) "

By which path you mean alignment chosen?

I tried the LG one and quit after two hours of searching.
Found only one trigger just outside of town, then continued looking all the way to Nashkel and found nothing.
Simply assumed that at the point I've went too far.

We went too far!
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

I can try to clean up the language of the quest to make it clear that you're not going that far south.

You're following the treeline in the single area following the road south out of Beregost, first south of the road (if you're on the good or neutral paths-- you go north first if you're evil) then north of the road. Walking a big circle around the one area, and then returning to your quest giver (who will be a different person depending on your specific path).
