Re: Hey
Welcome to Alfa! Best thing to do right now is check out our timezone forums and introduce yourself to the people in your time zone. It also helps to visit our IRC chat. Usually you can find someone to help you find a group to connect to to play with and people to answer many different kinds of questions you might have.
Springtime is a busy time for people in the real world, so don't get discouraged if it seems a little quiet. Our campaign days are always busy and lots of fun for players. Up until then you can explore our servers and enjoy yourself meeting people who are on. Don't be afraid to message people ingame to see if you can meet up either. We are all about communication.
PS. Burt (whom you'll often seen in chat) is from Scotland, too.

Re: Hey
Hey there. The world is nice and there's some questing content that you can do without a DM here and there.
(Though you'd be wise to seek some company. Premadeath and all.)
ALFA shines in DM'd games so make contact with whoever you see online, chat IC/OOC and try and figure out if there are any games to join.
Other than that, have fun, good luck with your 2nd (3ed?) PC.
