Any reason we can't get an inverted short sword and dagger? Saw them on another NWN2 server, and they're very cool.

"Having both normal AND inverted daggers is possible.
With MDB cloner you could simply clone the inverted daggers as new models, and edit char files with GFF. I did it myself and created a new set of daggers, numbering 101, 102, and so on. With GFF I edited the left handed dagger to be an inverted model, and they look great."

Bump.

Is it not importable to Alfa? If so I'll stop asking?

We do have some inverted models, yes. But what was linked to was an override anyhow, right? Something client end only, not a hak that impacts all users.

Yes, the problem was that the models would need to be renumbered (which anyone who is willing to take on some grunt work and has a basic understanding of how resources work [rename file; decompile; renumber references in file; compile; pack] but which no one has volunteered to do) or they would replace existing weapons (then what happens to the folk who don't want to play a sweaty-grappley kind of knife fighter, and would rather keep the person who prefers stable strikes with greater reach? Would make them very sad pandas).

Thanks, I didn't realize there are already inverted models in-game. Great news!

Gebb, there is a sword smith in BG who can change weapon models, you can explore them thataway OR you can see them in the tool set if you have all the alfa haks loaded.

Thanks I'll do that. I thought the BG smith was disabled from changing weapon models, but that's good news, I'll check it out. Thanks again,

Seriously this both has female armor that is modest and nice looking AND has proper breastplate models, greek style armors, plus new sword models, and a lyre/harp for bards.

Anything's an improvement over most current elf and drow heads (again, males slightly better than females aside from the Elanee head... which means this might be unacceptable in ALFA  )

Yes. Heads. God yes.
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.
