Having vault issues again..... no vault after server connection.

UPDATE:

Worked with AL some today on the problems. Right now it's looking like a network problem somewhere between the host and the vault. We've taken a couple of steps to try and improve the situation, and have some other things in mind. One physical change is expected, which will occur Sunday after AL gets home.

In the short term, if you notice vault problems (which you probably will), please post here with the time observed, and / or hit me in IRC chat and Ill take a look.

Power is out at the MS hostsite; most likely a quite temporary outage, but it's running on battery backups for the moment. I will give it 15-20m to see if the power comes back, but if not, I'll shut things down. Since I have to head into work for a while today, it may be out of commission until this evening sometime. I will post here to update as I know more.

[Edit: Dominion power currently estimates restoration between 7 and 9 PM, US Eastern time... so 4-6 hours from now. Shutting things down, will go run some errands and monitor progress via mobile app.]

This is a "feature" of MS Open being divorced from the main Live persistency database, unfortunately. Unless someone re-codes the web frontend to treat MS independently of the other servers (just for the month, at the end of which it'd need to be switched back), it'll continue to show MS as empty/offline.

nwn2server process froze this AM with I-KP on, caught it when I woke up and restarted. Up and stable now.
