Wynna AFK

Post by Wynna »

Hi all. I go on holiday from Friday 8/7 to Tuesday 8/11. For a week to ten days after that, my internet access may be limited to cafe hours while the floors in our house are renovated. Going to have to play any time I can grab to DM as it comes. The campaign will have to enter flexi-time. We may or may not advance things over the next two weeks, but should return to regular slots afterwards.

Thanks for your understanding!
Enjoy the game

This turned into a more extended ordeal than expected. We are finally back in the house with furniture in place. Still plenty of boxes to unpack. However, with school starting this week, the bad news is that I'll have to cut back my DMing to one session a week, tops. I'll continue to build. I'm going to wrap up my current campaign, though, as best as possible, and be less available in general.

Best of luck with school. Always fun for the parents:)

Few people have the ability to positively influence our little community as a whole,
And even fewer manage it without pissing anyone off...

It's good to have you about as much and as long as you enjoy it.

What kind of flooring causes such an ordeal? Recently helped put hardwood into a couple of bedrooms, granted it was on and off helping friends after work / weekends where whole project maybe took a week and a bit. Then again it was a new move in, no furniture yet in rooms, kids crammed into a guest room while floors being done. Best of luck though!

Regretfully, I have to admit that I'm not getting back in game any time soon. I'm going on a gaming sabbatical to focus on RL for a while. I've asked Curm to not suspend my DM status so that I can hop on if and when possible but I don't know when I'll be able to focus on or schedule anything ALFA-related. I'll post some IC notes in relevant threads.

We will miss you again. I'll try to keep some plots running in the meantime while the other DMs are away. 8)

Thank you so much for revitalising TSM outside your campaign.

Having the little things to do, and the overarching story in the background, made my own and others return much fun. Also provided a lot of 'stuff' around which JLM and Heegz's sessions for fun and games.

Also thank you for not turning in your DM wand. Dramatic gestures can sometimes lead to barriers for return and I will continue to hope that life makes room room for you/us again soon.
