pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Re: The Lady's College
Hello there. Being an Evoker my student is obviously struggling with completing his Conjuration work.
What do I do and is it even important that he gets a 'pass' on that class?
(I encountered some dialog about getting an exemption from a class, wondered if it's needed)

Re: The Lady's College
To receive a diploma in any school, you just have to complete all the coursework for that individual school. So, for instance, to get an Evocation Diploma, you do Elementary, Standard and Advanced Evocation classes, and then a non-scripted final exam.
Enjoy the game

Posted on the bulletin boards on the ground and classroom levels:
All students interested in graduate level research should assemble in the Great Library at {1200 PST on Saturday 16 May}. For those students with conflicting study circles or Senior Necromancy exams at that hour, a make-up assembly will be held {1900 PST the same day.}

Re: The Lady's College
The Lady's College session is currently scheduled for noon PST on Saturday, same as last week. Please post availability. New players welcome. Just make it IC.
Enjoy the game
Re: The Lady's College
John will be there... With five new words! (Even though he cheated on some tests... Shhhh...)

Re: The Lady's College
Arizma would certainly try to be there, but her player is on call. A session mid-day may be difficult to make, depending on work conditions.
Talk less. Listen more.

Aislinn will be there, grumbling at how a missing Arcadabraalakazamwhatnot keeps her at 7 of 8 words.

Glaustigan will be in attendance.
Re: The Lady's College
Notes are left to those taking part in the Dean's Quest (PCs and NPCs) alike:
"Well, fuck me, but that E quest sounds like a bitch.
Was thinking we'd best get a few of us together to get it done, be on the safe side and all.
Instructions sound iffy and I ain't one for planer travel...
But if any of you feel able enough ta handle something like that, then i'd be lending axe an' spell to it.
Leave word with the register, I ain't got no room here or nothing.
J.Walker."

Re: The Lady's College
Planning to be there as well; some possibility I may arrive late though.
