SH/EFT seeking WBGAAG and an ADM for PST fun and profit

Single Half-Elf Female Tank seeking Well Balanced Good Aligned Adventuring Group and an Available Dungeon Master for Pacific Standard Time fun and profit.

So, I have grown increasingly dissatisfied with ad-hoc, drop-in gaming on TSM, to the point that I barely log in any more. Ad-hoc gaming is great to have available, don't get me wrong, and I would not want ALFA to ever let go of it, but I find that my enjoyment of ALFA and D&D is more story related. Ad-hoc gaming holds very limited appeal for me. A couple months ago Rick started the Argent Legion group, which was later self-named "The Pride" but we had only one actual DM'd session before Rick left. And since then I've not managed to really be a part anything on going.

Rather than give up completely, I've decided to try and find a group and a DM for a weekly campaign game - something that can have some story to it, some movement, some character development. Not that ad hoc gaming doesn't provide some of those things, it does, just not very much - and there is very little continuity or story.

So - any DMs out there available to DM a weekly campaign during Pacific Standard Time weekday evenings? Any players? It would have to be a goodly aligned group (my PC being good and all). My available days are Wednesday and Thursday evenings (and Tuesdays but only if we played LATE).

Just FYI - to the best of my ability, I intend to limit the group to 6 players or so. More than that and things get out of control very quickly. I am throwing that out there to set expectations, not really because I think I'll be flooded with responses.

Alright, well, I hope there is a DM and some players out there who are interested - this half-elf female tank is hot and ready to go!

In a gaming sense of course. ;)

Well if you didn't stick that good aligned part in we'd have the perfect group for you. ;) Best of luck

I'd sign up, but I'm finding Pacific Time playtimes are a lot harder when you're 3 hours ahead. Highly recommended though, Mik is a lot of fun to game with.

I hesitate to commit to any regular evening session, but Thursday might be doable, if I switch my Uni night to Friday and consolidate some good-aligned (House Invinciblians?) into a Thursday night session? I'm pretty sure evening PST is a bad time for current H.I. folks, but maybe there are some other goody-two-shoes out there that would like to become part of the ongoing H.I. plot? Not /really/ necessary to be a card-carrying Helmite. Just a good guy. There are Red Knight and Tormite affiliates included already. Like Mik, I'd really like to have a group, though, before switching any sessions or making any plans. Anybody out there?

(Fair warning: there might be a thursday night or two dropped during summer hours. )

Great - we have a potential DM in Wynna for Thursday evenings (I emphasize potential as to not put Wynna on the hook). What goodly aligned PCs want to be a part of this?

You all know I'd do it if it were humanly possible to be at work and play at home simultaneously, but my balls are attached to each other, so that rules me out of a game date that starts at 6 in the morning, my time. We HIers should have a few capable of doing this, however, so I wish you all the best with this, Myk. Ask Xerxes (our preggers dorfette), and perhaps those two or three nj00blings, not to mention Rath (afaik, most, if not all, are U.S. timezoners).

Not sure about 'goodly', but would 'lawful' at least fit in?

I'd be up for this Mik. My hours are geared to the overseas news cycle so playing PST hours works great for me though until now, finding any sort of late night DM luvin has been more than difficult.

WW is trying to get something going and has offered time to the Dwarf players so your welcome to join in if nothing else develops.

OK, MK is in. That gives us a Tank (me) and a Tank/Healer (MK). Note my judicious use of MMO-like terms to describe our toons - recent weeks have seen me playing Age of Conan and Lineage II. Alas. Anyway, as to Kest's question - is lawful alright if not good? Well, Lawful Neutral would be a maybe and Lawful Evil would be a no. My PC is Neutral Good, currently trending towards Chaotic as her mentor in the Red Knights has left. So, thats where the foundation of the group is. Basically, if Vellya drives this group, then she will drive it to do good - somehow, someway.

EDIT/PS: I suppose its possible that in her despair over the loss of her love, Farran, and her dissatisfaction with the powers-that-be, that Vell could actually go evil (Darth Vellya? Noooooo!!!!!) but it seems unlikely. I have an evil PC already, so, sort of a been-there-done-that kind of problem. And in my head, Vellya is basically a good person.

If you can convince my PC to leave her hometown for any extended period of time (which, btw, won't be difficult at all), then you can count one more on the list.

Also, she's not a tank. So there's that. ;)

What specific Pacific (say that 5 times fast) times are you looking for? I live in Indiana, eastern timezone (-5 GMT). I don't get started till about 9 PMish. If that matches up to when you west coasters would be playing I would love to have Gunderlag join in. If the times match up well enough I could have a couple more folks interested as well.

I am use to playing PST times as I played on a PST WoW server. I usually only play with MK. If your playing on Thrs I could play with np till as long as you guys wanted to play. Im almost lvl 3 and a paladin. Is there a level limit you wish to stick around?

Mik, I am in with Thoron if you'll have me. Thursday nights later my time (EST) is good for me if that works with your time slot. Since only Vellya, Thoron and Hyacinthe are left from the original Pride maybe we can add to and resurrect that group for this campaign.

I can usually start playing around 6:30 PM Pacific Time. And I can play until, well, whenever if the game is going.

OGR: Thoron is in if he/you wish it.

Lusipher/Dan: Your PC is welcome. My PC is 5th level. I figure its best if we are all 3rd to 6th or so, but we can certainly take people all the way down to 1st level too. Paladin is fine so far as I know.

Fairdaddy: I think 9 Eastern is like 6 Pacific right? So that sounds good for us.

Avaz: Forgive my ignorance, but who is your PC and where is she found?
