Church of Istishia and Umberlee

Skaug has churches to both on Moonshaes.
I was just wondering what a person would be able to learn as "comon knowledge" about the relationships between the two clergy.
Allies? Rivals for worshippers? etc

Interesting question.
Idk about "common knowledge", but a low DC Knowledge (religion) check would reveal that the deities are allies. A friendly relationship between deities doesn't necessarily equate to a friendly relationsjhip between clergy, however. To the more specific issue of the relationship of the churches themselves in the Moonshaes region, no idea. I'm not sure there's even canon information on that. I didn't come across any mention of it in the 2nd edition sources on MS.

Faiths and Pantheons in the listing for Istishia says that he is loosely allied to other water gods and lists Umberlee
Looking in the entry for Umberlee you only find the other Lords of Fury listed as her allies and she sort of hates two of those allies of hers
