This post will summarize all item suggestions for the NWN2 ALFA Base Mod. General and specific suggestions welcome but please read the summary before suggesting new items or their specific details. Please make sure that any scriptable items suggested have a matching script suggestion in the script thread.

Maps needs to be a System. There's a few good ones out there. What would be really nice is a usable one that directs you towards a spot without revealing the popup map. That would require consistant area tagging in all modules.

If we can't do that, then someone had a nice system based off area INTs that would let you buy maps that showed downtown (INT = 1), downtown + subberbs (INT < 2) or downtown >> rural (INT < 3) so that we can have differing qualities fo maps. Add a second variable for town, and you can have lots of variety.

Fur Cloaks.
Animal Skins.
Animal Meat.

This way the above items would have a standard tag and could be used on different servers. Therefore you don't have to worry whether the wolf skin you got on DF can be sold on BG or the fur cloak that protects you from the cold in Sembia protects you from the cold in The Frozen North.

Two systems there Nick - one is essentially crafting (fur/meat). The other is eXtreme Environments (currently Ulias' XES scripts) - all warm clothing needs to have _warm or _xhd (I think on the latter) in the tag.

Since pipes are up there, I'll toss in the obligatory pipe weed/tobacco with possibly a variety of effects.

alfa global item tag system set up with scripts and ai scripts to deal with it
