It becomes a hindrance if you play after dinner and happen to get the night time, always play during night or during day seems a bit off... Its a compromise we need IMO, 14 or 15 mins will add longer durations and still allow the day/night times to change so that you dont always log IG during day or night.
I think it is a good compromise and if we could test this out it would be great.

Re: The Twenty-Minute Hour
If it is really that easy to make this change, perhaps we should settle on a trial rate? I think we should probably avoid 20 minutes specifically, due to the repeated same time of day issue.
Perhaps we should test out a day that is twice as long in the initial test, by doubling the rate to 14, as Zicada mentioned earlier. Once we've had some time to try it out, we can either roll back to our current rate, or else try fine-tuning it to a slightly faster or slower rate of advancement?

I've brought this up with the Standards Team. Hopefully we will be testing out a new rate soon.

Hah, if that's the case we'll be waiting another few days for them to have time to write up their 5000 word essay on the merits on the changing of the time flowHEEGZ wrote:[edit]

I don't expect the essays until after May 31st, when the trial is finished.

Essays are good, but reviews are the appropriate format here.
