Conan Exiles

http://www.conanexiles.com/

This looks pretty cool offering multiplayer on private and public servers. I am wondering if they are going to use permadeath as a means to really make this game a challenge?

It would also be fun to be sacrificed on the altar of some god when you loose a battle.

Re: Sigil

Sigil attempts to go with the source material as best as it can. There are a number of airheads as much as there are people that take canon planeswalker RP seriously. It is the hub of the multiverse so it is a constant freakshow. So it is fun. No one is repeatedly stepping on your face and grinding ...

Re: Sad State of affairs - Player retention

I just don't think there are many hardcore role-players of NWN2 left any more. And the current climate in the gaming world, even the PC gaming world, is not growing any new ones. A few things that would help: 1. Bye Bye Permadeath, Hello heavy penalties in gold and xp for becoming incapacitated and ...

Re: Sad State of affairs - Player retention

I've said this before; look at the places that have players and do what they are doing. Our servers are spectacular backdrop to any kind of RP. That is our biggest asset. If we don't change with the times and the demographics (and psychology) of people interested in NWN2 RP, Alfa is going to die.' I...

Sigil

I've have a group going on on Sigil City of Doors. There is endless custom content, good RP, and a lot of familiar faces plus a high server pop. We are looking to build a branch of Bregan D'aerthe there. I'm using my regular user name so hit me up.

Re: What are ALFA numbers like these days?

Just curious is all. I usually play alone, and don't mind if there's none or a hundred players still wandering the roads picking up mushrooms... but for curiosity sake, does anyone know what kind of population of players is happening currently? Plus, it looks like all servers are down on Gamespy......

Re: Arianna[Arri] DMing

Thank you Ari! I had a really good time and that was some fun RP.

Goes to show, you can emote you cook like Paula Deen and roll up terrible food.

Horatio and Caine are going to get thrown overboard or left in Waterdeep lol.

Re: Arianna[Arri] DMing

This is my off-Friday for my PnP game. It seems Gonzo has also been called up for his kids stuff, so we will have to hold off till Sunday afternoon or next week. Sorry!

Re: Non-TSM starting place for a 'solo' druid?

Moonshaes has a culture of druids. Even the queen is a druid. So ideally if you could muster a party, this would be an excellent place to play.

Can do most Fridays, every other Saturday, and most Sundays.

Re: Bug Thread

Keelhaul Inn (with the Fighting Pit) in the area Skaug: Inns and Taverns. The walkmesh will not allow player to pass from one side to the next or access hotel rooms. No biggie, just since we are playing in Skaug, might be a pain in the future.
