Is your last character deletion request correct (or do you still need it doing)?
It's still correct, but I'm without a gaming computer for the next few months so don't consider it a high priority.

Re: NWN1 ALFA Servers

I might end up a full-time NWN player if that happens (once I have a working gaming PC again).

Why?

Smokeable pipes. 'nuff said.

I vote Waterdeep. The true "metropolis" server is the one thing that ALFA2 really misses in my opinion, and that server was extremely well done.

Re: Classic AD&D novels

I pretty much enjoyed all of them that I've read.. but I never expected much. The equivalent of sitting down and watching a generic action movie. If all you expect is a few mindless hours of smash 'em up action... you're good. If you're looking for the Shawshank Redemption, well good luck. Darksun, ...

Re: Vault clean out

Khazar, I'm guessing about how to do this but have changed some things on the server.. can you let me know if your unwanted PCs have gone? Teric Not yet, they were still there when I logged in a few minutes ago. Rats. Ok, I'll get the instructions on how to sort it out when I'm back from holiday ne...

Re: REPORT BUGS HERE

Okay, so I tried to create a PC on TSM to play when I'm not feeling like playing with my primary. I was making a bard, so I put skills in "placeholder" skills instead of perform. But when I arrived at the start, it didn't pop up the automatic "redistribute your skills" option. So...

If it's yahoo... sure. I'll add another league.

If I have to sign up somewhere else... then probably not.

Re: xp for regular dm'ing

Khazar. The point about epic actions doesnt stand when you get XP for RPXP. The point was never to reward DMs with anything other than for the time they DMed the same XP they would have gotten if thier toon was chatting in an inn or walking along the tradeways. RPXP is about 15xp an hour I think? W...

Re: xp for regular dm'ing

Well, the 3.0 DMG I have seemed to indicate something along the lines of a standard guardsman never surpassing level 2 or 3 in their lifetime (as a warrior, not a fighter). To me that would mean that a grizzled sergeant in the guard as a level 2 warior would be common, and that a level 1 fighter is...

Re: xp for regular dm'ing

Higher levels don't represent regular life experience. They represent "heroic" (or "anti-heroic") accomplishment and achievement. And that should happen in game I think, not "off camera" as backstory. Yeah I don't think that's completely accurate. While there is certai...

Re: xp for regular dm'ing

Well... the problem being that every seasoned veteran started as a "fresh faced greenhorn" at some point. And the fact is that life experience does NOT equal character level. In most FR armies, the grizzled sergeant who's served for years is probably just a level 1 fighter... maybe level ...

Re: xp for regular dm'ing

Starting at level 1 is not at all essential for character development. In fact, it's rather restrictive to people who want to play something other than "fresh faced greenhorn". In fact, I think the possibility of someone playing very little and using their DMxp to start off with a seasone...

Re: xp for regular dm'ing

Hey, i've no requests, Im fine just playing every now and then. It's up to the admins to decide whats more beneficial for the community. Was just answering Khazar's question. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with wanting to develop a character. The progression a PC makes, both through accumula...

Re: xp for regular dm'ing

as for those opposed to a trickle of DM XP...ponder this...RPXP trickles in for cyber (and the more graphically descriptive and longer the session the more they get - sorry fade to blackers that only gets you 1 tick on the meter). Nobody should be getting any XP points for that... I'd rather see RP...
