Re: Daggerford or TLR
TLR had a lot of lowbie stuff if I recall as well as a lot of mid to high level stuff.. Marcus a toon I played on TLR and Joe the thief ventured into a cave with beholders once.. that was scarier than fighting dragons with Jena and she died.. best RP'ed death ever by a group of pc's.. almost wish I...

Re: Chronicles of Elyria
As I understand it the Director has been writing the Soulborn engine (server side - how the game/PC interaction and everything actually works) for about 10 years, they are using the UE4 (client side) and lots of procedural/automated approaches rather than people heavy custom approaches. Plus they ha...

I think this game is coming along very well even if it's a year away Some eye candy: What happens to your char over ~16months https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeqpcUzOMhE Snow accumulation - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cawwR8n875s Very first unrefined look and feel - https://www.youtube.com/watch...

Re: Nathaniel
He stepped off the riverboat in bright sunlight and bowed his head in prayer to the Morning Lord and Torm. Almost two years since he was last here, and almost four moons since leaving Tantras for...home. Yes, home. But he had listened to the sailors talk. Undead above Rivermoot? A terrible tune play...

Chronicles of Elyria
It's not DMed, and it's not community servers, but this game has so many features i love. Ageing and dying to ensure turnover and reduced megapowerful people who never die character arcs from 12 years old born to a PC or NPC family (looks based on genetics not choose your own) Food and armor effects...

Re: Turn setback into opportunity like a champ
That's a shame Arri, your experience sounds really bad. Its exactly that sort of thing and related that led to us banning some ALFA 1 dms. I have to deal with serious conflicts of interest daily in my real life role and acting with integrity is essential which is why I don't really get cheating in g...

Re: Turn setback into opportunity like a champ
What became of the irregular RP group? It seemed successful, though like there was some holiday-related stumbling in the last month (though all of ALFA took an extra-strength dive right at the holidays, which we've seen the first little glimmer of recovery from this week). Would've thought that was...

Re: Turn setback into opportunity like a champ
I know. But when we had to ban erevain and the rest for cheating ALFA was different , more competitive, more populated, more PvP, and bucket loafs of logs to scan fir cheating (god i remember that). Hell we had 7 active ALFA reps!! A policy that failed then may become more appropriate in diff circum...

Re: Turn setback into opportunity like a champ
Look forwards to the suggestions. We have some of the best tools available to DMs in the nwn2 community on ALFA it's true, and Great contributions by all that step up into staff positions. But need people to use them and not just one or two (arri + ...?). I will continue to log in and play as much a...
