Hey Amar,
I remember your forum debates from way back but was trying to remember which server(s) you frequented. Were you on The Long Road mostly or for a significant period of time?
Glad you turned your passion into a career.
Cheers,
Darren

Re: How did you find out about Alfa?
2002ish was excited by the prospect of playing DnD online, did a little searching, found the old alandfaraway site with the looping 'welcome to a land far away' greeters. I probably made 2 or 3 applications before being shunted to the snowy OAS in 2003-4. Kinda like this: http://nwvault.ign.com/View...

Re: Deep gnome group?
I just rolled up a ranger svirf but forgot that I needed Curm's permission to do so.
His name is Belwar Sussur, couldn't select Segojan Earthcaller so I had to go with Callarduran Smoothhands.
Let me know if you need a bio for him Curm.

Re: DM and Player Props
From what I've seen so far, I really like the frontier feeling of the server.
For those craving civilization, Hillsedge has a great feel as well.
Handful of Eyes is a must-see.
