Cleric
Clerics are masters of divine magic, which is especially good at healing. Even an inexperienced Cleric can bring people back from the brink of death, and an experienced Cleric can bring back people who have crossed over that brink. As channelers of divine energy, clerics can affect undead creatures. A Cleric can turn away or even destroy undead. Clerics have some combat training. They can use simple weapons, and they are trained in the use of armor, since armor does not interfere with divine spells the way it does with arcane spells.
Alignment Restrictions: A Cleric’s alignment must be within one step of his deity’s (that is, it may be one step away on either the lawful–chaotic axis or the good–evil axis, but not both). A Cleric may not be neutral unless his deity’s alignment is also neutral.
Clerics and Domains
ALFA offers a wide range of domains, taken from various Forgotten Realms source books. Certain domains have more innate power and while appropriate to one deity are out of place for another. If in doubt, discuss major departures from this list with a DM of your server. Clerics with multiple gods are not supported in ALFA. If a cleric’s favored weapon is not represented in the game, a reasonable approximation may probably be found in what NWN provides.

Holy Symbols (NWN2)
These may be used by Clerics, Druids, Paladins, Rangers and Spirit Shamans to restore their spells at the time and place of their choosing. The Divine casters can still pray for spells even without their holy symbols, by using the Pray for Spells button in the PC Tools. Praying for spells may only be done once per rest cycle (24 game-hours). Activating the holy symbol or PC tools button begins a looping kneel animation, which takes approximately 2 minutes to complete. If interrupted, it must be started over. Talking does not interrupt the prayer, but movement or combat will. At the end of prayers, a server message will inform you of spell restoration.
